Mack this is great news.

Now as much as I would like to see Scottish independence I do wonder as pointed out in the artical with the economic troubles in Europe will it be a good idea to break from the UK at this time?

Then again if not by 2014 then how long will it be to have another chance?

As much as one can be concerned about the economic issues this can also be used as a scare tactic to keep Scots from voting for independence.

Every step forward to independence is good.

The article us no longer there so I'll have to try to find the info somewhere else.

The EU is in in some serious trouble. Being linked to GB might only pull Scotland further down the drain than being independent.

Giants (big conglomerates) fall pretty hard. Just look how it works in the corporate world. So there is something to be said for a smaller, independent nation that is managing its own resources well.
